Christian began his career as an actor. He studied at HB Studio with Anne Jackson (Tony Nomination, Golda), Lenore Harris (Playing for Time) and the esteemed Austin Pendleton (A Beautiful Mind, Mother Courage with Meryl Streep). His first theater experience was in the acclaimed play by Arthur Miller, 'The American Clock', starring alongside Barbara Eda-Young (Serpico), directed by Austin Pendleton. Soon after, he was nominated for best actor at the Strawberry One-Act Festival for his portrayal of a highly neurotic nerd in the production of 'Bitter Apples'. That same year, He decided to pick up an SLR camera and began shooting moving images. He was drawn into the world of filmmaking and inspired by Ingmar Bergman and Andrei Tarkovsky. An opportunity to step behind the camera for a narrative short film 'Watch Your Step' led to the making of his own experimental short with a single character - Central Park, and its many faces, capturing the beauty of the four seasons. In his free time Christian draws, paints and writes poetry.
