Born in Leon, Mexico. During his childhood, he shot his first films with a handycam and casted his cousins for all main roles in them, discovering his true passion for storytelling. After finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, he earned a scholarship from the Vancouver Film School (VFS) to study the Film Production program where he worked in many productions and directed his short film "It Starts With Nothing" and his first music video "Fáciles", that earned the Official Selection from the Orlando International Film Festival. He also worked as the cinematographer for the short film "$2 Pesos" that won Honorable Mention in the International Film Festival of Manhattan, and was part of the Short Film Corner at Festival de Cannes. After finishing his studies in Canada he returned to Mexico, where he has worked in many feature films and short films. Now, with “Yo era un dragón (I Was a Dragon)” he gathers all the knowledge he has acquired over the years, and presents a Coming of Age story that shows you have to work hard to succeed, you have to be brave to fight the ghosts of the past and no matter how hard you try, passion can not be controlled.
