A nod to the western genre, "The Showdown" is a symbolic drama about regaining identity after it’s been lost. Each moment is an opportunity to change the narrative, rewrite history, and break the cycle of destructive habits. We must learn to eliminate toxic behavior by finding truth in our identity and live honestly with ourselves. The Showdown screened at the Yonkers Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives New Filmmmakers Festival, Entholigy Screenings (BK), Necessary Studios Filmmaker Showcase (LI City, Queens), and aired on BRIC Arts Media Free Speech Channel (BK).
