Dan Duran is an international documentary filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles, CA. Multifaceted in documentary production, Dan has shot, produced, and edited various documentaries nationally and internationally, including countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Ghana, Italy, and Canada. Dan’s documentaries have been nominated for IDA and ASC awards, featured on Vimeo Staff Picks, broadcasted on PBS, and premiered at films festivals across the country including Full Frame, Camden International, and Doc NYC. Currently, Dan just wrapped production on a feature documentary for Participant Media, which explores portraits of world population at a crossroads. Whether his docs are used for the non-profit sector or the simple joy of telling a compelling story, Dan strives to be a voice and platform with his films.
