Refah’s earliest memories are of seeing Aladdin in the theater with his Mom and of watching scratchy VHS copies of Merrie Melodies with his Dad. Despite a period of distraction during which time he earned a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Lethbridge, Refah found his way back to the movies and is now a student in the 9th Cohort of Montana State University’s Science and Natural History Filmmaking Program. His work has been featured on Terra, Smithsonian web TV, and at the Big Bear Lake and Wild Talk Africa International Film Festivals.
