In 1976 Silke Christina Engler was born in Aachen (Germany). Between 1995 and 2000 she studied Theatre, Film and TV Studies in Leipzig and Bochum and graduated as a M.A.. Since 1998 Silke is working as a script supervisor and assistant director for TV-films and movies (e.g. Two Lives, Hannah Arendt). From 2010 to 2015 she achieved a postgraduate diploma in Media and Fine Art Studies at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM) with special emphasis on film writing and film directing. She is now working on her debut feature film.
